Personal History
Paul Lopez graduated from Texas City High School in 1983. He proudly served with the 2nd Armored Davison in the US Army for 3 years, with an overseas tour in Germany for 2 years and was awarded the Expert Infantry Badge along with other various awards. He was also served with 6th Aviation Army Reserve Unit as a Helicopter Mechanic and Certified in the Army Maintenance Management System. This system is his primary tool as a Public Works Director. His oldest son Trevor is in operations with a major Petro-Chemical Corporation in Houston. His other son, Travis is pre-enlisted in the US Army and is scheduled to attend the US Army Infantry School and Airborne School in July 2018. His daughter Lillie attends high school and is very involved in her studies and school athletics.
Civic Service
Paul Lopez has been the Public Works Director since 2010 and has worked in Public Works Sector for 30 years, both in operations and Public Works Administration. He serves on various committees in Nassau Bay and is very instrumental in the planning and vision of Public Works Infrastructure. Nassau Bay has been awarded various awards for its Parks and Film Friendly waterfront community. Besides infrastructure, Nassau Bay is known if its palm trees and its many beautiful flower beds throughout the city. He is very proud of Nassau Bay and its beauty it has to offer to his residents.
