The City of Nassau Bay recently identified a network security incident that impacted our systems. Upon learning of the issue, we took immediate steps to protect our environment, including disconnecting certain functionality to protect against any further harm. We immediately commenced a thorough investigation in consultation with outside cybersecurity and data privacy professionals. That investigation is in its early stages and is ongoing.
Our goals right now are to resolve
any disruption to our systems, make sure all endpoints are secure, and restore functionality. As a result, some of our systems may not be fully available. We expect full restoration in the coming days.
At this time, we do not have evidence that any personal information has been compromised as a result of this incident, but the investigation is ongoing. We will keep you updated as we know more. We are working as quickly as we can to determine the scope and impact of the incident.
