Administration
The office of the city manager handles the general administration of the city and executes the policies and objectives of the City Council. The city manager is directly responsible to the mayor and City Council. He oversees the day-to-day operations of the city by coordinating all city department activities and functions.

Animal Control
The Animal Control Division is responsible for Animal Code enforcement including control of dangerous or vicious animals, impoundment of animals found at large, providing humane animal traps for resident use, relocation of trapped animals, and rabies monitoring and control.

City Secretary's Office
The City Secretary's Office is primarily responsible for compiling and publishing the City Council agendas, attending each meeting of the City Council and maintaining a record of accurate minutes of the proceedings

Building Department & Floodplain Management
The Building Department is primarily responsible for overseeing construction projects within the city limits of Nassau Bay in addition providing Nassau Bay residents with basic facts about flood insurance and property protection measures for flooding situations that occur.

Code Enforcement
The City of Nassau Bay strives to keep our city a safe and proud community for all citizens to live and work. The Code Enforcement office plays a key role in upholding the various City codes and policies as adopted by City Council

Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
The City of Nassau Bay provides quality pre-hospital care to the sick and injured and is a fully paid EMS Service under the immediate direction of Emergency Management.

Finance
The Finance Department's staff ensures that the City's accounting, reporting, utility billing and collections, accounts payable, and payroll activities are properly administered in accordance with local, State, and federal laws and guidelines.

Fire Department
The NBVFD is a chartered corporation of The State of Texas and operates under a contract with the City of Nassau Bay, Texas to provide Fire and Rescue Services to the citizens who work, visit, and live here.

Fire Marshal & Fire Safety
The Fire Marshal’s Office is responsible for the protection of life and property through code enforcement, site and building plan review, fire inspections, and fire cause determination.

Human Resources
Human Resources seeks to engage, attract, develop, support and retain the best workforce in the country to serve Nassau Bay residents.

Municipal Court
Municipal Court’s primary function is to process all Class C Criminal charges filed by the Police Department, Fire Marshals and Code Enforcement Officers alleged to have occurred within the territorial limits of the City of Nassau Bay.

The Nassau Bay Police Department serves the citizens and visitors of Nassau Bay through community programs, crime prevention, patrol and much more.

Public Works
Public Works maintains and improves Nassau Bay by providing infrastructure assets operation, maintenance, capital improvements. Public Works oversees Animal Control, Parks and Recreation, Streets, and Water and Wastewater.

Sanitation & Recycling
The City of Nassau Bay contracts with AmeriWaste to provide residential and commercial waste and recycling services.
