Halloween in the Park
Join us for a SPOOKTACULAR time at our Annual Halloween in the Park!
The Special Events Committee is making plans for the City of Nassau Bay’s annual Halloween Carnival at David Braun Park on Saturday, October 23rd from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Come join the fun!
Costume Contest, Hayride, and More! |
As in past years, there will be a costume contest. Start planning to dress up the family! Judging will begin at 6:45PM. Prizes will be awarded according to age groups, as in previous years. New this year - there will be a prize for the best group costume! So, bring the princesses, angels, and heroes and put on your best.
A hayride, games and a “trunk or treat trail” will thrill the little ones. The ever-popular DJ, haunted trail and campfire s'mores will round out the evening.
We are in need of volunteers to help run the carnival games and the haunted trail, so if your teen is in need of volunteer hours, please contact staceyamdur@gmail.com.
In addition, we are inviting local businesses to join in the trunk or treat fun. Businesses should contact Stacey Amdur for more information
Trunk or Treat |
Many of you have shown interest in our trunk or treat event for this year, or perhaps you have attended in the past. We would love to have you join us this year!
For more information, please contact Stacy Amdur at staceyamdur@gmail.com.
Volunteers needed |
Volunteers are also needed! Please help us put on the best Halloween ever!
The event lasts from 6pm to 8pm. Volunteers are also needed for setup from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, and cleanup afterwards from 8:00pm to 9:00pm.
You can sign up for a single 2-hour block, or for the whole evening. Best of all, it should be a lot of fun! We hope you can help us make Halloween in the Park a SPOOKTACULAR event! Sign up to volunteer here (online link).
