Job Title: Paramedic - Part Time & Weekends

The person in this position responds to all medical emergency calls during assigned part-time hours or on weekends. 
- Responsible for performing patient care on routine ambulance calls on a part-time basis.
- Responsible for processing all run sheet data for ambulance calls assigned.
- Responsible for inspecting and servicing assigned ambulance to insure proper working condition of the vehicle and for maintaining cleanliness of vehicle.
- Responsible for inspecting and servicing ambulance to insure necessary supplies are in  stock and equipment works properly and for purchasing necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisors or their designees.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of prior emergency medical services experience.
- Must hold and maintain up to date State of Texas Paramedic Certification.
- Must hold a Texas State driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Special Requirements:
- Must be knowledgeable of all aspects of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) operations and general knowledge of federal, state, and City laws and ordinances.
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) in English and to lift and carry patients, as needed.
