How are Nassau Bay's services impacted due to the Coronavirus pandemic?

As a strong preventative step to slow the community spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in and around our community, City of Nassau Bay administrative offices are currently closed to the public through Friday, April 3rd. We are continuing to operate normal essential operations during this time, however, non-essential services will be temporarily suspended.

Nassau Bay parks, trails, and the dog park will remain open, but we are encouraging residents to practice social distancing. The playground, pavilion, benches, tennis court, exercise equipment, any area that people would come in contact with others will be off-limits.

ALL TRASH ROUTES WILL RUN AS NORMALLY SCHEDULED. AmeriWaste feels it is their responsibility to do what they can to help reduce the rapid spread of COVID-19. To help protect their employees, all trash and recycle must be bagged. AmeriWaste will NOT pick up loose trash or recycle. Recycle must be in a clear or white bag (no black bags).

Rest assured, we are continuing to answer calls, emails, and provide essential services during this closure. Click here for a list of essential staff phone numbers and email addresses, as we are more than happy to help you during this time.

At this time, there are no confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the City of Nassau Bay. We realize that can quickly change, which is why our Office of Emergency Management will continue to work with state and local authorities to determine any future actions.
