Who: All citizens and business owners in Nassau Bay
What: Public input session for possible parking solutions to ongoing parking issues in Nassau Bay
When: 1st Session – Aug 24 (Citizen input to help create solutions): 2 – 8pm; 2nd Session – Sep 21 (Citizen input on identifying the most popular solution): 2 – 8 pm
Where: City Hall Council Chambers (1800 Space Park Drive, Suite 200, Nassau Bay, TX 77058)
How:
-Open forum with no set time to present a topic for both sessions
-A come and go approach, but still have the ability to brainstorm and receive further exploration on topics/solutions
-Citizens will have the opportunity to leave suggestions/solutions
-Use colored stickers to put on ideas, pictures, themes, proposals to identify if you like/dislike
-The data gathered from the 1st session will be tabulated; possible solutions created from citizen input and staff knowledge will be developed and presented at the 2nd session
-Citizens will use stickers again to identify the proposed solutions they like/dislike
-The 2nd session will also have an open forum that allows more brainstorming and a location for citizens to leave more suggestions on possible solutions
-All solutions (including citizen write-ins) will be given to Council for them to discuss during the October Council session
