March 24, 2018, 8:00 AM @ Pavillion at David Braun Park
In 1976 the tradition of Beautification Day began. Individuals, families, young, and old – come by yourself or bring anyone who loves to garden – are invited to help in this once a year beautification project. The Garden Club has supported this endeavor through the years. Join us at 8:00am at the Pavillion at David Braun Park (18900 Upper Bay Rd). Coffee and a light breakfast will be served. Hurricane Harvey and several ice and snow days wreaked havoc on the plants throughout the City. Volunteers on Beautification Day clean up the City's 43 maintained gardens (which include esplanades). This volunteer event is also a great way to meet your
Nassau Bay neighbors and support the City. Any amount of time helping to keep our City beautiful is greatly appreciated. NEW this year is the Beautification Day Vintage T-shirt Contest! Dig through your closets and wear the oldest Beautification Day t-shirt you have! A prize will be awarded to the winner.
