Enjoy hayrides, making your own s'mores, dancing, and more! Don't forget the costume contest! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes per age group.  Come on out and have a spooktacular time!

Trunk or Treat

New this year – trunk or treat! Local businesses are invited to participate. For more details, contact Stacey Amdur at staceyamdur@gmail.com.

Volunteers needed

Volunteers are also needed! Please help us put on the best Halloween ever!

We need help with the following tasks:

  • Setup the Nassau Bay Pavilion with tables, games, chairs
  • Setup the haunted trail and manage the crowd for the hayride
  • Help with the trackless train ride
  • Help out at the s'mores pits and with the Trunk or Treat area
  • Help with the games/crafts
  • Tell scary folklore and stories at the campfires
  • Firepit and s'mores “fire warden”
  • We Need Monsters! (MUST wear costumes for this one! Be a zombie/monster/other scary and give the folks on the haunted trail have a story to tell others.)
  • Cleanup

The event lasts from 6pm to 8pm. Volunteers are also needed for setup from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, and cleanup afterwards from 8:00pm to 9:00pm.

You can sign up for a single 2-hour block, or for the whole evening. Best of all, it should be a lot of fun! We hope you can help us make Halloween in the Park a SPOOKTACULAR event! Sign up to volunteer here (online link).
